Thank you so much for your interest in and support of Ingeenium, an arts charity aiming to build community through creativity. Until 2020, we were mainly working in libraries, especially in East London, and runing projects, workshops and events that were collaborative, inclusive, participatory and community led. We continue to dream of a society where everyone can come together, connect and create.

However, after the events of the suspension of our main programmes – Story Painters Craft Club (funded by BBC Children in Need) and Rathbone Writers – in 2020 and the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has hindered our ability to deliver programming, we have decided to close the charity and transfer our assets to other organisations working to support the local community.

The local libraries, Custom House Library and Canning Town Library, continue to provide essential community programmes and services, and remain a wonderful haven for individuals and families. We strongly encourage you to continue to explore all that they have on offer, and to find out more about the local charities and community groups in the area that can help you and your family access the services you need and explore your creativity through art, drama, literature, performance and more.

Thank you once again for welcoming us to Newham, and helping us build community relationships through participatory arts.
